Economic Indicators Bulletin for SEE - October 2016

The Southeastern Economies we follow are expected to continue in 2016 and 2017 the growth dynamics of the previous year according to the European Commission Autumn forecasts published in November. Final consumption and more specifically household consumption are expected to be the key driver of economic growth in the next few years. Real GDP forecasts have been revised upwards by the European Commission for the majority of the countries we follow, while it is worth noting that Romania’s real GDP is expected to be the highest registered in the whole of the European Union.
