Piraeus Bank announces actions to support the wildfire victims and contributes to the financing of the Ecological Park in Eastern Attica
Piraeus Bank is participating to the effort of rehabilitation of the fire-stricken areas announcing actions to relieve the pain and rebuild the infrastructure in addition to the measures that Hellenic Bank Association announced.
Piraeus Bank in collaboration with Apostoli (the NGO of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens) will contribute to the financing of the first Ecological Park in Rafina, in an area of 11 acres, which were granted by the Holy Metropolis of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki.
The Ecological Park will contribute to the formation of environmental consciousness for primary and secondary school students. The Ecological Park will consist of extensive green areas and will include an environmental education center, an environmental education workshop, a recycling complex, ecological vegetable gardens, an environmental playground, sports facilities area and a musical fountain.
Piraeus Bank and Apostoli (the NGO of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens have a created a bank account (5052092389951 / IBAN GR19 0172 0520 0050 5209 2389 951) where organizations, companies and individuals as well as employees of Piraeus Bank Group could donate for the relief of the victims and the rebuilding of the infrastructure. Piraeus Bank will also contribute own funds.
Furthermore, Piraeus Bank alongside the local authorities of the fire-stricken areas, will assist in the rebuilding of playgrounds and sports facilities areas in order to contribute to the rapid restoration of the everyday life..
